One constant that has remained through my life is being an athlete. I grew up playing year-round soccer and continued playing through college. After transplanting to Boston and looking for a change, I began to train and competed in powerlifting, where I hold a New England squat record. Yoga never struck me as ‘athletic’ until I took my first heated Power Yoga class. I completed my 200-hour teacher training at O2 Yoga in Cambridge, MA under Mimi Loureiro, where I studied an athletic, energetic yoga practice consisting of unique sequencing and hands-on adjustments. My prenatal yoga teacher training was completed with Barrett Reinhorn, and kids yoga trainings with ChildLight Yoga.

I have dabbled in all sorts of diets (vegetarian, vegan, paleo, FODMAPS), some due to moral reasons, others for health reasons. As a certified holistic wellness coach I work with individuals who want to balance their lives and the food on their plates.

When not teaching yoga, practicing yoga, or cooking, I enjoy traveling with my husband, being outdoors, gardening, and spoiling my little dachshund.
